- Account details such as email address, display name, and authentication identifiers from Google when you choose Google sign-in.
- Profile images, stories, reactions, and other information you choose to submit.
- Basic device, browser, and access information processed by our hosting and security providers.
- Usage information collected through Google Analytics and cookies or similar technologies used by analytics and advertising providers.
How we use information
We use information to provide account access, display and manage stories and profiles, record “Convinced” reactions, protect the service, understand site usage, and support advertising.
Service providers
Supabase provides authentication, database, and file storage. Cloudflare provides website hosting and security. Google provides Google sign-in and Google Analytics. Adsterra provides advertising. These providers may process information under their own privacy terms and in countries outside your own.
Public content
Published stories, display names, and profile images are visible to visitors. Do not include personal or confidential information in a public submission.
Cookies and choices
Authentication, analytics, and advertising may use cookies or similar technologies. You can manage cookies in your browser and may use Google’s Analytics opt-out tools. Blocking them may affect sign-in or site features.
Retention and your choices
We keep account and submitted information while needed to operate the service. You can update your profile in Account settings. To request account or personal-data deletion, contact contact@convinced.news. Public content may remain in backups or third-party caches for a limited period after removal.
Children
This service is not designed for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review it.
