The Ingredient Name Review Office on Oct. 18 approved Energy Blend, a tablet whose ingredient list includes the word “energy.” Reviewers checked for one thing: the two characters were there. The application listed “energy” as its active ingredient, and the panel called the wording “clear.”
The maker says it took inspiration from the placebo effect. Time spent reading the product name and ingredient list is now part of the experience: open the box and the ingredient panel faces forward, with “energy” first in view.
The leaflet begins with a simple instruction: “Find the word energy in the ingredients.” One reviewer said spotting it brought “a small sense of achievement, even before the search was over.” Some readers are now checking the letter count before the dosage section.
The office plans to review “motivation” and “tailwind” as ingredient names next. The maker says it wants future labels to deliver a little feeling along with every ingredient.
